Tameside Sports Trust and Development Unit Accredited Clubs Scheme

Egerton Park Arts College has been chosen to pilot the Accredited Club Scheme for junior clubs and organisations working with young people. The duc is participating in this pilot and are working with Tameside Sports Trust in partnership with the Tameside Sports Development Unit to gain the award. Clubs receiving the award show that they comply with minimum operating standards in four areas:

The playing or participation programme
Duty of care and child protection
Sports equity and ethics
Club management

Annual General Meeting

The duc annual general meeting is held in January each year. The current appointed officers are:

Secretary - Steve Colligan

Treasurer - Jane Dutton

Union of UK Unicyclists

The UUU is a members club for unicyclists. the aims of the club are:

to promote unicycling and unicycling events in the UK
to share information about unicycling and unicyle events with other riders
to encourage participation in all aspects of unicycling in the UK and abroad
to further the recognition of unicycling as a sport
